Meet Our Clinicians

Rohit Khanna, MD

Dr. Khanna completed medical school at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then attended Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY for his internship and residency in psychiatry. Dr. Khanna has worked for many years in private practice as well as treating patients in the inpatient setting at various private psychiatric institutions, currently he is an attending Psychiatrist at Riverwoods Hospital in Atlanta, a private psychiatric facility. He also provides psychiatric care to under-served communities in the north Georgia mountains from our Marietta office through an office in Ellijay, GA via cutting edge telepsychiatry. Dr. Khanna specializes in the treatment of adults and has extensive experience across the spectrum of psychiatric disorders. He is currently the Medical Director at Lakeview Hospital & Twin Lakes Recovery Center.

Svathi Reddy, MD

Dr. Reddy believes in a whole body approach to each patient and strives to encompass therapeutic techniques into her psychopharmacological treatments. She received her MD from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency in Psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY. Dr. Reddy has many years of experience in a variety of settings including private practice, psychotherapy and Emergency Psychiatry. She has taught as an assistant professor at several academic institutions including Albert Einstein Medical College in New York and Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. She treats a wide array of psychiatric conditions including all mood disorders, anxiety and panic disorder, ADD, Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. She has a special interest in women’s issues. Dr. Reddy is accepting new adult patients 18 years and older. She is currently the consulting attending physician at Piedmont Hospital & Northside Hospital.

Joan R. Funk, PhD

Dr. Funk received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University, graduating with honors. She completed her internship in clinical social work from the University of Georgia where she received both her Masters Degree and her PhD. Dr. Funk has special certifications in psychotherapy and relationship counseling from the American Psychotherapy Association and hypnotherapy from the National Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists. She is a diplomat in the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling and Psychotherapy, Inc and a fellow in the American Psychotherapy Association. While primarily relying on cognitive behavioral techniques, Dr. Funk is well versed in other psychotherapeutic modalities. Dr. Funk is accepting new adult patients 18 years and older.
